The Dandelion Effect

A dandelion has 150–200 florets or seeds per plant. When dandelions reach this white phase, it means they’ve matured enough to parachute new life.

Both kids and adults like blowing into this intriguing plant as it sways softly in ethereal waves.

I thought of this plant when explaining the fruitfulness of ideas. Let’s imagine each floret is an idea.

Mindful Seth Godin stresses, not only are ideas free but,

“People who can spread ideas regardless of what those ideas are, win.”

Again, each floret is an idea.

But what’s remarkable isn’t the floret itself but the stem, the nutritious soil, the grass, the sun, and the person/people that blows and spreads the idea.
