- Involving young people in decision-making uplifts the community in tremendous ways. Which makes sense, as policy often has multigenerational impacts.
- Innovation is a bottom-up, grassroots process that occurs when people engage with different, diverse communities. This statement came from Scott Miller from the Center for Strategic & International Studies and I couldnāt agree more.
- Last but not least, this conference helped empower me to continue working toward a career in foreign affairs. Specifically a career with the Embassy of Mexico or Hispanic Cultural Institute. As a persistent and resilient professional, I believe with time and commitment a career in foreign affairs is possibleā¦ of course, as long as the international pandemic doesnāt close the bordersā¦ again.
