3 Ways to Protect your Mental Health as an Entrepreneur

(1) Surround yourself with aspiration and inspiration.

You are the average of the 5 people you surround yourself with.

Attitudes, lifestyles, and mindsets are contagious.

If you surround yourself with optimistic people, chances are you will also see the half glass full. If you’re friends with people that work hard, you’re likely going to put a couple extra hours into that passion project. If you are friends with pushovers, odds are — you’re going to let yourself get stepped on.

Surround yourself with good people, those who possess a variety of strengths and values.

(2) Schedule time for peace.

We are quick to block out an hour for business meetings and research, but when do we put ‘meditate’ or ‘work out’ on our calendars?

Our personal health affects our professional health and vise versa. Prioritize your peace. ☮️

(3) Prep healthy snacks for the week.

Some folks are good at meal prepping, but that’s sometimes difficult if you factor kids, travel, relationship building, and long grueling hours as an entrepreneur. A more realistic, small goal would be to focus on your healthy snacks for the week.

For example, dried fruit, trail mix, easy-to-snack vegetables like carrots and celery, hummus, and more are practical, quick, and nutritious!
